Ann Lewis

Ann Lewis is a multidisciplinary activist artist using painting, installation, and participatory performance to explore themes related to American identity, power structures, and justice. Since receiving her bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Wisconsin – Madison,her work has been exhibited at the White House and acquired by the New York Historical Society Museum and the US Library of Congress. At Luminaria 2018, Lewis installed a temporary maze-inspired work with a hidden phrase within its lines, highlighting the history and future of Hemisfair.
