Castro

Castro plays a hot combination of African traditional, reggae, and jazz. The band was the 2013 Last Band Standing winner of Namibia and the 2014 Best Live Performance Award from the Namibia Music Awards. The band has gained international attention with successful tours to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Belgrade, Ecuador, and China. Performing for the first time in the USA, Castro is Luminaria’s honorary guest as part of the International Sister City relationship between the City of San Antonio and the City of Windhoek.
