Urban 15 Group

Formed in 1974, URBAN-15 is a multi-disciplined performance ensemble of community artists. URBAN-15 is known for its innovative costumes, sculptural sets and technology designs and the ensemble has been an important part of San Antonio’s and Texas’ artistic celebrations in parades, concert appearances, arts education programs, sports, and festivals. With a commitment to performance and education, URBAN-15 has pursued a strategy to provide lifelong access to arts participation. It has created methods that allows people at every age to be a part of an ensemble artistic experience.
