Anna De Luna is an actor, writer, and HIV prevention activist. She received her training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, toured with the National Theater of the Performing Arts, and acted/directed for the American Theater Company in Brussels, Belgium. De Luna will be performing her autobiographical play My Arab Fall for Luminaria 2019.
Sometimes comical, sometimes harrowing, this piece explores gender, religion, and sexual assault amid the dramatic political and social changes taking place in modern Egypt.
