Debora Kuetzpal Vasquez, Bianca Sapet, and Zombie Bazaar Panza Fusion

Debora Kuetzpal Vasquez is a multimedia artist and educator from San Antonio who re-imagines archetypal myths from a Xicana feminist lens. Bazaldua, dancer-choreographer and founder of Zombie Bazaar Panza Fusion, directed the work blending forms of latin dances from folklorico to cumbia. Sapet, with Pablo Mancias and Carlos de la Garza draw on the diverse Latin American and indigenous musical traditions that heal, transcend barriers and honor ancestral follore. This full night event activated a garden space with music and performance.

They performed on February 19th at the San Antonio Museum of Art.
