Paredes, a new body of work by Fernando Andrade, consists of large-scale drawings using graphite and watercolor techniques on paper. Paredes is an ongoing series comprised of life-size figure drawings in various poses, exploring tension and discomfort. The project challenges the viewer to think about the self-constructed walls and consider their positive and negative impact. For Luminaria 2018, Andrade presented a time-lapse video of the process of creating these large-scale drawings.
This project is funded by NALAC.
