House of Trees

House of Trees presentedWord Around Town, a collaborative project between San Antonio artists, writers and poets who created a network of illuminated, vintage, lettered signs that celebrated the people, landscape and culture of San Antonio. This project was built up of a series of double-sided arrowed marquees that focused messages toward the history of the city, its culture and Hemisfair itself. Word Around Town was installed on the main pathway in Hemisfair, near UNAM and Mexican Cultural Institute, and featured the works of Naomi Shihab Nye and John Phillip Santos.
