Rattletree

Dedicating their lives to learning ancient trance inducing rhythms of Zimbabwe, Rattletree invokes an awakening through the ages. The special permission to transmit these sounds to the world is given only after living with their teachers in the hills of Zimbabwe. For their Luminaria performance Rattletree presents Moving the Ancient Forward, an original score written for giant Zimbabwean marimbas integrating video projections to bring the performance alive.
