San Antonio Jazz Ensemble

An experimental dance troupe collaborators Tessa Maropis, Aubyn and Sterling Armstrong and Rachel Laven merge multidisciplinary forms of creative expression with contemporary dance creating the San Antonio Jazz Ensemble. For Luminaria, the troupe created pop-up performances in spaces delineated only by light, liberating dance from a conventional stage, and bringing the experience to street level.
