A’lante Flamenco

Performing a new work created for Luminaria, Quintaescencia, spanish for “quintessence,” is by A’lante Flamenco wherein the artists explore the classical notion of quintessence, the fifth essence. Invoking the four elements: earth, air, water and fire with choreography, music and video productions. The dancers then imbue the work with the fifth essential element: duende as said in flamenco or, the soul.
