The Luminaria festival partnered with the River North neighborhood’s San Antonio Museum of Art and local businesses. A hurricane dampened the original weekend with outdoor stage cancellations, so “Take Two” events were orchestrated in late November in a vacant lot and in February 2016 at the Tobin Center for Performing. International artists from Gwangju, Korea joined national and international artists invited by regional curators. Brunch and discussion events expanded the weekend programing to deepen connections with the arts.
